The Storehouse is in real need of a regular sister volunteer for the Thursday morning shift, from 9:30-1:00. The storehouse has called this an urgent need. This sister can be any age, so long as she is free Thursday mornings. I’m hoping that there would be a lot of people interested in a regular service opportunity like this.
Help keep the homeless warm this winter by donating gently used / new coats, hats, scarves, gloves, sweats, or NEW socks. Volunteers of America is doing a collection at 315 Record Street on Nov. 1st from 9am-12noon. You can also call / message Jenni Amundsen and I’ll pick up your items and take them down. “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these, ye have done it unto me”.
Help disadvantaged / at risk youth in our area: Project 150 is in desperate need of smaller sized clothing – specifically jeans; preferably new – size 26-28-30 for both boys and girls. They also are in real need of new bras – especially in the smaller sizes. If you can donate, please call or message Jenni Amundsen.
