The goal this week is to have families and individuals gather photos, dates, documents and stories about their ancestors and upload them to Family Search (familysearch.org). Hopefully, after last week’s challenge, you have created an account and logged into Family Search. If not, it’s not too late, and it only take a few seconds.
Again, our wonderful Family History Center Directors have created an instructional video (link below) with information on how to upload information to Family Search. See the link below (please scroll all the way to the bottom of this email). We have also included the instructional video from last week, in case you need assistance in creating an account (the FamilySearch account will use the same username and password as lds.org), logging in , or navigating the website. If you need further assistance, you can reach out to your Ward Temple and Family History Consultant, Leader or a member of the Elders Quorum or Relief Society Presidency. You can also visit the Family History Center located in the Stake Center at the Neil Road building. Temple and Family History consultant are there Tuesday – Thursday 10AM to 5PM and Thursday evenings from 6PM to 8PM.
The Lord is hastening His work and the gathering of His children on both sides of the veil is central to this hastening, His plan, and the purpose of the creation of this Earth. President Russell M. Nelson stated, “The earth was created and this church was restored so that families could be formed, sealed and exalted eternally.”
Sincerely,
The Stake Presidency
